7 days Gourmet Tour

Day 1.  

  • Arrival.
  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel. 
  • Accommodation.
  • Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 2.  

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Yerevan City Tour: Panoramic view of Yerevan, Republic Square, Opera House, Parliament, National Academy of Sciences, Presidential Palace, Lovers Park, Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial of Tsitsernakaberd.
  • Visit to Indoor market of Yerevan and Yerevan Brandy Company.
  • Lunch during the tour at the Armenian restaurant with traditional dishes and wines.
  • Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 3.  

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Gheghard (monastery in the rock)-Enjoy Armenian spiritual songs of the Chorus of Geghard in church.
  • Garni Pagan Temple.
  • Watching "lavash" (Armenian bread) making and tasting.
  • Traditional lunch (Armenian khorovadz making and tasting) during the tour in Garni Village. Khorovadz is the word used in Armenia for describing barbecued food-from meat to tomatoes, eggplants and peppers. 
  • Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 4.  

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Khor Virap - the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, enjoy the best view of biblical Ararat Mountain, Areni Wine Factory (wine tasting), Noravank Monastery.
  • Lunch during the tour near Noravank with traditional wines.
  • Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 5.  

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Sevanavank, Old Dilijan, Haghartsin Honastery.
  • Traditional lunch during the tour in Sevan. Sevan is famous for its different kinds of fish, particular for ishkhan, which means "princely fish". Tasting iskhan of Sevan.
  • Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 6.  

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • St. Hripsime Church, St. Echmiadzin Cathedral - the spiritual centre of all Armenians. Zvartnots Cathedral.
  • Traditional lunch during the tour in Echmiadzin. Tasting Dolma which is prepared from ground meat, rice and spices, wrapped either in grape leaves or cabbage, and served with matsoon (Armenian yogurt) and garlic.
  • Return to Yerevan.  Dinner at the Armenian traditional restaurant with folk music. Overnight in Yerevan.

 

Day 7.  

  • Transfer to the airport.
  • Departure
